Our tried-and-true workhorse board short is made from a DWR (durable water repellent) treated nylon that wears light and dries fast. With a flat-lying, single-button gusseted fly, a self-draining side-zip pocket with key loop, a low rise and below-knee length. Inseam (size 32) is 10"; outseam is 21". Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program. Regular fit.

Excellent for surfing and swimming, Patagonia's Wavefarer II Board Shorts feature an extended outseam profile that hits below the knees when sized properly. It's made with a fast-drying Supplex nylon fabric that's backed with a three-piece, mesh-lined waistband that helps keep the short from slipping away during surprise dunks. The one-button gusseted fly is a new touch, although you can add extra security with the front tie closure at the waist. Patagonia also updated the angled side pocket with a better zipper and a flat key clip that helps keep valuables on your person (or at least in your shorts) throughout the day.
